Barry joined Ashworth Wealth, LLC in the fall of 2012. After 20 years of being on the road as a Business Development and Practice Management expert, it was time to pull back and spend more time with family and clients. During that time, Barry represented several of the country's largest asset management companies. He travelled around the entire country, personally coaching and training industry professionals in the art and skill of becoming wealth managers. Barry has experience in delivering prudent business-building services and techniques that were designed to create long-lasting client relationships and successful businesses.

With 30 years of industry experience, Barry has extensive knowledge of the investment advisory business, with a focus on Asset Allocation and Financial Planning. With a degree in Finance and Financial Planning, his primary focus is to help clients in their efforts to achieve their financial goals. Barry has been a regular presenter to civic groups, professional organizations, students and clients on obtaining financial success through following sound, academically based investment principles.

Barry has been a guest Instructor and Lecturer at both Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. He lives in Alpine, Utah with his wife Sara. They are the proud parents of five children, and now are enjoying their six grandchildren. The family is very active in outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, boating and exploring the Wasatch Range. Barry is a senior member of the Utah County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team. He is a former President of the Utah Valley Chapter of the Marriott School’s Management Society. Barry has served on various civic and professional organizations, including the Board of Directors of the Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America, and The Financial Planning Association.
